Bam Bam is a big boy looking for his true love! He came from a home with multiple dogs and does well with most dogs that he meets. Bam Bam is very active and has not had a chance to learn any doggie manners yet, while he is just trying to play he still thinks that leaping into you is a good way to greet people. We would like to find a home that will complete an obedience course with him. Due to his size and energy level he will not be placed in a home with kids under 10.

Bio: Meet Abbey! This little girl is approximately 5-6 months old and weighs
30 lbs. She has been spayed, is up to date on vaccinations, has tested negative for heartworms, and is ready for her new home!

She is a little shy at first, but warms up quickly, and is a very good puppy. She is being crate trained. She is housetrained, and is learning basic commands. She is very sweet and playful. She gets along great with her other eight playmates at her foster home. The picture does not do her justice; her coloring is spectacular and look at those beautiful blue eyes! All applicants will be asked to fill out an adoption application, and will have to agree to a thorough check of all information on the application, as well as a home check.

Riley is looking for a home in Baltimore, MD.

Riley is a 14 week old pup that was seized from a neglectful owner in South Carolina and came to MD for a better chance at finding a family to call her own. Riley is missing her right eye, it is unclear if this is due to an injury or birth defect however she came to our rescue this way and it appears as though she did recieve vet care for this in the past.
Riley is a bit timid when approached from the right side but otherwise is not affected by her slight disability.

G-I-N-G-E-R! Ginger is looking for her family, she is located in Baltimore.

Ginger is approximately 2-3 years old. She was known as "stray female 49" when a volunteer saw her at a local animal control shelter. Ginger is currently in foster care with cats and small dogs. She is very fearful of dogs that are larger then her and needs a home where she is either the biggest or only dog. Ginger loves to cuddle and has plenty of energy.
She has not been tested with children yet.

As you can see from that last picture, I had a rough start to life. Fortunately, my luck has changed. In July 2007 the Humane Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals in Columbia, SC seized me and my companions (Buddy and Baby) from a neglectful home. My previous owner is being prosecuted for animal cruelty in SC. I was severely emaciated and flea/worm infested. Buddy, Baby and I have traveled from SC in hopes of being adopted and getting a second chance at life. Just look at how beautiful I am now! I'm an adorable little girl with lots of energy. I'm only 1 year old, and I'm spayed. I would do best in a home that will provide me with lots of mental and physical stimulation, and I would love to have someone who would take me to obedience class! I've started learning basic commands, and I've been told that I would have a lot of fun with agility. Any kids in my new family should be age 12 and up. I can't wait to find my forever home where I will be loved and cared for, so if you think I could be the girl for you, please come visit me and fill out an application!

I came here with my companions, Buddy and Rabbit, after we were seized from a neglectful home in Columbia, SC last summer. Our previous owner is being prosecuted for animal cruelty. I'm a very friendly and sweet girl! I need a home without cats or other dogs, although I might be okay with a submissive male dog.
