6th History and 7th Civics - 02/23/05
We have begun reviewing the material that we've already covered in class in order to prepare for the SOL tests coming up in May. Each parent can be of great assistance by helping your child review at home. At the beginning of the year, your child was given an SOL booklet. The 6th grade booklet has a glossy red, white, and blue cover.In this booklet, we have covered up to and including page 6. The 7th grade booklet is white with black lettering. In it we have covered up to and including page 21. You can review by going over any vocabulary words, and by asking the Essential Questions from the booklets. Students should be able to answer the Essential Questions. The answers are listed under the Essential Knowledge section that apears right under the Essential Questions. Your child can help you with this part since we've done this in class. The success of your child depends on all of us working together. If you have a problem, please call me at school. Thank you.
