Volume 3, Issue 7 Editor:
Leyara Rin OK people. It's that time again for the Tribune to tell everyone
everything about what's news in today's world. This is an issue you definitely don't want to miss. Find out who
spends the most amount of time doing as little as possible in Spur. See who the up and coming Mages are that are
giving the leaders a run for their money. And of course we didn't forget to include some juicy bits of talk that's
going through the grapevine. Find out what the latest is in Emjedah with all that's been happening there. It's all
right here, right now, just for you our dear readers. Whether you read for information or just for fun.........or
even if you want to use this paper to smack someone over the head for not reading it, get comfortable in your
favorite reading chair (or whatever you use to sit on) and enjoy this month's issue of the Tribune. Top Fives Spurian most likely to bathe in Dragon Ale 1. Cuervo Hrm, nothing wrong with bathing in ale...right? I wouldn't do it
but ale is bad for Leuians, bad I tell you! Poison even! These five, thin skinned though some of them may be,
don't care! Sponge ale bath anyone? Maybe they found a secret grotto somewhere with a fountain that has ale
running through it and not water, poor Thiarin'a, they wouldn't be able to get through the door. Maybe the
big flying tater is the one who hauls in the buckets to leave by the door once all the splashing and frolicking
is done by the others. Easiest place to hunt 1. Ork Fields I guess it would depend on what you were hunting for exactly now
wouldn't it? That is all I will say on that without going into any more detail. The favorites ....Orks....they
breed faster than Leuians...always a nice healthy herd to be thinned out. Then there is the clock tower with
those pesky little orklings..gah! I told you the orks breed fast..someone needs to get all of them out of the
tower already and back into the woods where they belong! The skeleton closet is next, surely a haven for Psions,
both young and old. The Merc's and TSC are also favorites. Aradath's most boring locale 1. Rinanni's Temple The temple of Rinanni along with 'any' temple is considered pretty
boring, unless you happen to stumble upon some juicy conversation taking place or intrude upon a temple meeting.
The Anything goes club, Pride hall and Wolftrap got votes. Maybe they should combine the buildings, purposes and
titles...The Anything Goes Pride Hall Wolftrap Club.. Worst dressed 1. Kagee I don't know why some of you voted for these citizens...Scabby should
have been first and Thogorgoo with his...drooling bucket worn around the neck is enough to make my fur go instantly
limp. Disgusting! And it's almost full! This is making me too ill so I just can't write anymore on this topic. Kagee,
Aliyah and Dumb...consider yourselves lucky. Biggest or littlest town square bum (take 2) 1. Aliyah Aliyah is the newest official TS Bum, one of many anyway. Nutmeg comes next
followed by what I think is Aeslyn's yappy little squawk box of a pet. Of course Aeslyn didn't make it on here but Litorth
did. Go Litorth! Just when you make your daily jaunt to TS make sure you don't sit on Aliyah! Don't want to give her another
reason to scream about someone being blind who really isn't now do we? Callik rounds off the list...it is a pity he hasn't
shot the raven yet and put it out of its misery. Having Aeslyn for a master surely mustn't be easy. The Finger Wigglers Shay'ra, the one who had such a difficult time staying
conscious at the Tournament of Magic has the lead as Guild Mistress. Good thing she didn't drink before her matches began.
The sleepy Frontacian Rhoube is next, maybe someone switched his sickness cure with a bottle of sleeping potion. Landoo,
and Guaire are next in third and fourth place. Darktalon and Ragarn are tied although Darktalon still is hanging on tightly
to fifth, but to what I don't know. The feisty drag-al Gossamer is next and another Spinner, Bolan is not far behind. Eron,
another sleepy one comes next in ninth place trailed by Scruple, who Callik thinks sounds like Timor but little does he
realize that he sounds just like the Sanene mutt he so frequently visits with within Spur's gates. 1. Shay'ra Magicka the Human Shandora's Box Kristiona says, "I think you should just kill the one that got
your weapon otherwise it may be bad" Rylek asks Gromnug, "I'm supposed to give a big long
speech, but I'll spare you. Do you Allandra asks Ragarn, "So you were saying something about trading me
for Daine. Does this Moondove exclaims to Star-eyed, "Hiya High Pockets!" You pick up Syntrik's thoughts, "For the record I am not an arse." Rylek says to Rytul, "You come near me and I'll kill the boy." Panick exclaims to Orin, "Just think! I'm 17 times as old as ye and I
do stupid things all the time!" Allie asks Alazam, "Oh, did you hear of the Moloch incident?" Allie says to Vixen, "Well, you know, sometimes I don't wear that many
clothes" Panick says to Rylek, "I think ye ought to be arrested. Ye assaulted me." Laston says to Syntrik, "No servant of Taath is worth anything at anytime" Tuftor yells, "See I knew you were a screamer!" Cagliostro says to Callik, "You Firs use such odd words." Allie says to Wyzteria, "Your reasoning is flawed and childish" Gossamer says to Mel in Leuian, "He has slain innocent Drag-al for words we had Vikoa says to Creman, "I am sorry" Toberas says in Secti, "I am not wearing pants, I am pure." Zydrigeon says, "I am uncomfortable acting arrogant, so I don't do it." Netraa says, "The tiger speaks in complete sentences. justices only know one word,
guilty" Arithys asks Ulric, "Since when do we allow lemmings in the city?" Tear says to Saberus, "Knights don't listen... we have people like... Rylek
runnin it" Orin says to Ocinaiya, "This City is nuts" Ralin says, "Changeman... or any other name you refer to him by, is in my
employ." The Tiger says, "I am called Andariel by the one you seek to know, the one
who guides News * Syntrik recently was captured in Emjedah
for illegally entering the city, lets hope he also loses a finger as Changeman's Firian friend Callik did when he was
imprisoned after his plans to release the Firian slave failed to work. * A source has told me that Rylek has decided
to keep wearing the boots he has always worn, even though TS was flooded by the sewers. He was heard saying he likes the
squishy sounds they make when he wiggles his toes, also said the smell isn't that bad either. * Dajeda is now under Emjedah's control, there
is now a crested black flag outside the gate. The flag has a crest on it with a bright blue bolt of lighting streaking
across a field of red and black. * Several slaves bound with Bluesteel chains
still dangle from their arms outside Emjedah's second gate. They whimper frequently but to no avail as no one yet dares
to come aid them. * Kazil the Firian bounty hunter was seen west
of TS just a short while ago, he was getting an earful from Kraggon, Tuftor, Saberus, Guadior, Valoria, Gurrtog, and several
others. As is typical, there was lots of name calling and mud slinging. I was shocked to hear Kraggon actually yelling for
guards, but it also appears as if they ignored him. * Changeman was seen several days ago down south
of TS. Weldoian was present and Callik was also there being tended to by the Secian Aliyah, the Spurian criminal showed up
seconds after she left for the healer shack and foolishly stood there where anyone could get a good look. My source told
me that he whispered to Weldoian and Aliyah both that the exile was right next to them but they made no move to seek out
guards. He managed to slip into the shadows and after my source began calling for guards, he told me that Aliyah made it
clear as she yelled that she just didn't care and told my source that he 'must be blind'. Quite a sad state of affairs
when Aliyah indirectly calls someone a liar she has never even met. * And this next bit of news was sent in by..a
little bird..but not the same 'little bird' that usually sends things to us, this one was quite the bold and daring 'little
bird' who knew he was taking a chance by sending this to me, but decided to do it anyway. He said he listened to two
female Leuians, who shall at this time remain nameless, tell of the love they had for each other in their temple just
a few days ago. He wrote to me that he was thinking he had at first mistaken their words and asked them in what sense
did they mean, and to his shock, they told him they were .... dating and wished to Khat'sara in the future. One spoke of
how the other had caught her eye as soon as she stepped foot in Spur. As horrifying, shocking, amusing as this is, the
'Little Bird' who shared this with me is completely honorable through and through, as to why he shared this with me,
well, that is anyone's guess. As always, if you want to compliment, confide in, threaten, or to advertise anything at all, send us a scroll. Thanks for reading another mind-boggling but stimulating issue of our paper! The Tribune Staff |
