Volume 1, issue 10 Editor: Leyara Rin Contents: 1.) A few words from the Editor. Well, here we are again. This is my second issue but certainly more interesting than the previous one, at least I think it is. But it does not take much to put a smile on my face. We hope you again enjoy it and please keep your rotten tomatoes to yourself... :) Panick has informed me that the Orphanage is being framed in. She said it's about half built, and anyone who wishes to see it is welcome to drop down to the Keep and see what's there, as they always leave the gates open. She is still receiving donations (the cost is high), but she estimates that they are 3/4 of the way to their goal with some other donations promised. She is hoping also to organize a hunt to raise any additional funds needed.
Rise of the Classes Time for the current skill rankings in the Hand Cleric's guild. I don't know about you, but I see one giant pattern of "honorable" Khats and one "Flerian." Seems like there are just lot's of strange things going on in this guild. Remember when Sir Katze murdered Lord Guaire as much as he could that night the Lords of Chaos took over Spur? Didn't the Burrow throw Remath out, or not notice him as a Flerian anymore or something like that? Sammeth, since when was the last time he's done anything useful? All I do is see him in Town Square, and everytime I see him he's a little fatter. Callar, I can't think of anything witty for him, he's doing pretty well though, he'll be number one someday, I can feel it. Thandril, I have no idea who he is, but he's behind Callar, I see no future in this fellow. NEXT! Khatmandu? I'm sick of writing about Leuians... especially those "honorable" khats. Basically what it comes down to is, Katze hasn't been around in a while, good riddance, he'll fall behind, Remath is a demon in the form of a Flerian he'll probably take number one soon, Sammeth is lazy he'll lose his place in the guild in no time (hopefully), Callar get that number one spot, I believe in you! Thandril I have no idea who you are, but you'll probably be in number two. Khatmandu, I hope you get run over by an Oliphant.

1. Becks Ok all you whiners! Cease and desist already. If you cannot, then go find a guard or an ork or heck, go whine all over the streets of Spur and maybe one of the Muatana-al's will jump out and give you a good reason to whine. Whiners or not though, we still love yah - I think.
1. Rictor Rictor and Aliyah I am hereby declaring TS off limits to both of you for, hrm... four hours. Seriously though, those two are THE ones, who at any time of the day or night, if you need to find them, check there first. Headflinger? Heck I think he lives in TS, but then again that applies to the first two more so than him. Litorth owns TS, he can be there whenever he wants. And Sweetie? I am not gonna make her leave, are you?
1. Vixen This was a surprise indeed. Vixen, I applaud you if you were finally able to get everyone's eyeballs out of your, um, shirt. Kissinda are you Purrkinn's daughter? If so you are following in her footsteps. Purrkinn, Purrkinn, Purrkinn...You must have been real frisky lately to be voted in this category. I wonder what the Tome of Honor says about things such as this. And Aliyah! Why I don't think she ever leaves TS, and when she does isn't it with Rictor? Aspendew who is your roll model? I hope for your sake that none of those eyeballs that had been in Vixen's shirt have now fallen into yours. What's that saying? Out with the old and in with the new?

Ariakerrestende The Leuian with the looong name was picked first by many as being the quietest in all the lands, following him is the Leuian Kaori who reportedly was injured long ago and cannot speak at all. Smackem, the guy who hides a lot and Firanlen who tries to were also favorites. Artemisia, come out come out wherever you are.

Mistress of the shadows was the all around favorite. Kassandra's name was also
a big one, followed by the Secian with the name that is almost as long as that
Ariak fellow. My name, shockingly enough was thought to be exotic and so was

Her hubby Rictor has been seen recently flirting in Town Square with some cute little San Elf, little, but certainly not as little as Rictor himself is of course, I even saw them flirting with eachother with Aliyah present! Touching, slapping backsides, she even sat on him once when he was searching the bottom of the fountain for something he had dropped? Every time I see them he is tackling her or she is pushing him down...Just can't seem to keep their hands off each other from my point of view. Aliyah I do believe he needs to be punished. Fey was recently seen talking with Barra, the former self proclaimed Master of Meetpoint. Fey asked him if he was still mad then made some comment to him because I guess he thought he was Grachus. Barra then asked her what she thought of Nalpac and all she had to say was, "Bah.. He is of the corrupt Silver's ilk.., stuffy overly verbose scholars of Nomikos.." And if that wasn't funny enough to my little ears, Barra then asked her why she thought Depravato was corrupt, yes corrupt, and all she had to say to that was "That he is, he was born such, and he will ever be such." Then she said something about some Omen he had been born under, and that Depravato was always ruining her fun. And before she left Barra to return to Abria, she said to him with a smirk, and may ye lose your wits once more. Such caring between friends, it almost brought a tear to my eye. Voodo was in TSC when a Gobby beggar spit at him. (Which is a typical greeting in Gobby culture) Voodo the black got angry at being spit at and killed the 'impudent mortal' and in front of a Secian too, which obviously upset the Secian greatly. Then the Gobby's ghost cursed Voodo in a way that caused mold to grow on his scales. Big wet chunks of the nasty mold grew off of him and splattered to the ground. To get him to remove the curse, the Gobby's ghost made Voodo promise never to kill in front of Secians again, and then to apologize to the Gobby for killing him and leaving his family in the poor quarter to fend for themselves. The apology to a mortal was extremely painful to Voodo, and he barely was able to even whisper the words. Yes, it was quite amusing for all who witnessed this with their own eyes. Do you think he learned his lesson? I have my doubts. If a Lord or Lady marries someone, the person they marry gets a title of equal
standing, thus some lords are planning marriages. Including Khatmandu, who will
marry Kassandra who is already his khat'sara. Apparently the governor doesn't
recognize the Khat'sara ceremony as a marriage, so they are having a marriage
ceremony for the express reason of making Kassandra a lady. Murdach and Lilly the Muatana-al were in TSC, speaking of the Necromancers and other things, but for all the knowledge they gave, it left most confused. At one point during the conversation Murdach turned into a Talon sword. Advertisements The Sages' Guild is still open and available for research requests, unique queries, scholarly pursuits, education, etc. The guild has also opened a library in the Associated Guilds and a debate room to settle disputes. Please contact the Guild for a planned mediated debate. In addition, the Sages seek out those who would wish an apprenticeship, or believes themselves to be a Sage already.
